As I work my way through the top places to have breakfast in Harford County, Maryland, I certainly don’t want to leave Vintage Cafe out! This adorable little place is also popular for lunches because of its old fashioned counter and soda fountain. We stopped by for breakfast this morning and was impressed by the great design of this little treasure as soon as I walked in the door. The tables, chairs and decor have a true vintage feel. We were warmly greeted as soon as we entered.
We chose to get the special, a slice of mushroom, caramelized onion and cheese quiche and added an order of breakfast potatoes, a side of bacon and a waffle. The quiche was wonderful – not too rich but still flavorful and fluffy. The potatoes were nicely done, as was the bacon. The waffle was a bit heavy and chewy. Overall, we really enjoyed the meal and we loved how relaxing our breakfast was. We also loved the excellent service. We’ll be returning to Vintage Cafe for breakfast in the future!
